Tungsten Shield Pot with Handle for Radiopharmaceutical Vials
Our tungsten shield pot with foldable handle is precision CNC machined from high-density tungsten-nickel-iron (W-Ni-Fe) alloy, engineered for nuclear pharmacy and nuclear medicine departments. It serves as a gamma radiation protective container for radiopharmaceutical vials during storage, dispensing, and transportation of radioactive tracers such as F-18 FDG, Tc-99m, Lu-177, I-131 and Y-90.
As a superior non-toxic alternative to lead shielding, tungsten alloy delivers higher radiation attenuation within a smaller footprint, lowering occupational radiation exposure for radiopharmacists and technologists. The robust folding handle allows secure and convenient manual transfer of loaded vials.
